Zeeman appoints Boudewijn van Nieuwenhuijzen as new CEO
Zeeman Groep BV is pleased to announce the appointment of Boudewijn van Nieuwenhuijzen as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1st, 2026. He will succeed Erik-Jan Mares, who has successfully led the company for the past nine years and who will ensure a smooth transition.
Boudewijn brings more than two decades of international leadership experience across retail, FMCG and wholesale. Most recently, he served as CEO of Super Indo in Indonesia, part of Ahold Delhaize. His previous executive roles at Ahold Delhaize and HEMA span store operations, format development, ecommerce, buying & merchandising and strategic transformation. His proven ability to combine strategic clarity, hands-on execution and people-focused leadership makes him an excellent fit for Zeeman.
